Description
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

Don't waste another season on a dull shade garden! Whether they are the classic green and unique blues, or purples and red hues, these plants will give at least three seasons of color in your garden.
Loved the item. The plant was in great shape and easy to plant. I can’t wait to see it bloom
I have several in just about every color G.G.P. has to offer. I am so very pleased with how they are coming along. Second year for most of them and they are the best for me. I have a health issue which takes away my energy, these plants are so easy to care for and just keep making me smile as I watch them grow. I have some in containers and some in the ground and I cannot say enough about this company and their suggestions to help me get a garden growing. I will not purchase anything from anyone else. Most of the pics are from first plant to now and will thin as I need.
I love the plants, sorry to say that with the extreme heat I am not sure if they are going to make it in south central WI.
I have ordered a lot of plants from Great Garden and I am a very satisfied gardener. This year has been brutal heat and not much rain, so not ideal garden weather at all.
I hope the astilbe make it, they look pretty bad right now.
