Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

Everything came beautiful and alive but sadly the heat got everything despite watering. I'll try again in the spring.

I love the creeping Jenny. Arrived in a box wrapped individually in plastics bags that kept the soil moist. Healthy beautiful plants just like the picture!
I ordered 10 plants initially then I ordered 6 more to fill in gaps...when I received the final six I added 2 to the 10 in front yard in full sun...within days they turned brown and died the remaining 4 I planted on side of the house (partial sun) they are thriving...come to find out the info on your website is incorrect....creeping Jenny needs "filtered sun".....lesson learned....I'll get my plants from local nursery from now on.
We're sorry you're having trouble with your plants. Our team of horticulture experts would love to take a closer look! We list that the plant in question thrives in sun (> 6 hours sun) to part-sun (4-6 hours sun). Which light it does best in can depend on your gardening zone. They were well packed and watered when they arrived. They’ve been in the ground now for 3-4 weeks and seem healthy and are actively growing.
