More Information

Description Other wisterias might take up to five years to bloom, but with Amethyst Falls Wisteria (Wisteria frutescens), you won't have to wait! This fast-growing vine boasts long, fragrant purple flowers on one-year-old plants. It blooms heavily in springs, then repeats through summer for extra appeal. There are few things as lovely as wisteria blooms gracing an arbor or trellis. Don't worry; this American wisteria won't become a nuisance, unlike other Chinese varieties that take over. It's easy to grow, maintain, and train, making it perfect for beginners and experts alike! Details How To Grow

Wisteria

I'm so excited to get these plants. I've always wanted these but have never had any. They are in the ground and growing just waiting to see if they make it through the winter

Great Quality Plants

The two wisteria I ordered arrived well packaged and in very healthy condition. I put them in the dirt and they started to thrive immediately. I will definitely order more plants from Great Garden Plants

Amethyst Falls Wisteris

Good news - my wisteria is happily thriving in a new pot (it’ll be an indoor plant for now). It’s already put out several new leaves, so I rate it a success. Not so good news - the packaging was a little sketchy, so it and the plant inside arrived looking rather battered. The cardboard had slots cut in it, I suppose to let the plant breathe, but that meant that it had little strength to keep the plant from being crushed. The pot wasn’t secured inside the packaging, either, so it had slid back and forth in the box, which had bruised some of the leaves. So I suggest you rethink that a bit. So I rate the plant a 5, and the packaging a 2.
