Description
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

The plants arrived and were in decent condition. However when the buds bloomed most were yellow, not even close to the orange ordered. The tags on the plants had orange flowers exactly what ordered. Customer service has not responded. At this point I expect no response. Very disappointed and do not recommend this company.

Just purchased two of these earlier this month. Didn't expect any blooms this year but to my surprise after my walk this morning I saw this beauty about to open up along with many other buds!
the plant arrived in perfect shape. one had a blossom and all had buds. the only issue we’ve had is out of our control. some lousy rabbits ate a few buds. :)
I would pay shipping only for the one plant! A fantastic species as ordered, delivered timely and in great health!
I was really excited to receive my roses and although I knew they were not going to be large, I was really disappointed in the size. I'm a flower and rose gardener, so it's not like I didn't know what I was doing, but what I got was a COMPLETE RIPOFF!!! At $24ish each, for that I wish that I would've gone to Lowe's or HD and purchased beautiful Knock Out Roses, in full bloom and in a gallon container! I'm just sick about spending $150.00, 2 of which are NOT GOING TO MAKE IT and 4 that I'm having to really nurse in order to save them! I will NEVER shop with your company again. What a disappointing experience!
We’re sorry you’re not satisfied with your plants! On each product page and our plant sizes page, we note that all of our plants are young. The size of our plants varies depending on the time of year and whether they were recently trimmed. The most important thing when purchasing plants, online or in garden centers, is a full and robust root system, which we prioritize. Trimming only encourages stronger root development! All orders are covered by our 60-day guarantee, so please reach out to claims@greatgardenplants.com to start the claims process if necessary.
