Plant Spacing

Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:

Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

It flaunts a truly astonishing number of neon reddish-pink flowers in spring, and for the rest of the year, its foliage runs the show. Leaves are glossy with creamy margins and green shades in the center; all put snugly together in an elegant compact shrub. Plus, it's disease resistant, so it’s good looks are not easily lost!   How To Grow Soil: Fertile, well-draining soil. The soil must be acidic with a pH around 5.5 to 6.2. Alkaline soil turns its leaves yellow between the veins, a condition called chlorosis.
Light: Part-sun (4-6 hours sun) eliminates flower scorch in full summer sun.
Water: Azaleas are shallow-rooted and will need regular watering in times of extreme heat.
Spacing: 3- 4 feet apart
Fertilizing: Apply an acid-forming azalea fertilizer right after they finish blooming.
Winterizing: Planting in a protected area from harsh winter winds will help prevent winter damage. Insulating the plant's base with a two or three-inch layer of hardwood mulch will also minimize winter damage.
Maintenance & Pruning: Prune only in spring after the first bloom to shape the plant and remove any dead growth.

one of the boxwoods never did well and after giving it some tome simply died. i was going to notify and ask for a refund. Also i think for the price it was small. I have received much more substantial plants from other nurseries for not much more in price. I would like a response please
