More Information

Description Dark red petals and chocolate-brown centers make 'Cherry Brandy' black-eyed Susan ( Rudbeckia hirta ) a decadent addition to the landscape. They bloom continuously from midsummer into fall, giving gardeners and pollinators plenty of time to enjoy the flowers. Cut the flowers to use in arrangements, or leave them standing for winter interest.

As a native perennial, Rudbeckia is easy to grow, heat tolerant, and drought tolerant. Flowers attract pollinators to the garden, and their seedheads are beloved by birds and other wildlife. It's perfectly suited for cottage gardens, cut flower gardens, prairies, or nearly any spot that needs an extra pop of color. Since it's deer and disease resistant, you can count on long-lasting blooms year after year.

Blooming soon

The plants had some wear from poor shipping but they took nicely to potting and will bloom this week only 4 weeks after planting.

The thing died

I emailed you yesterday and said the flower died and I wanted it replaced (rather than getting reimbursed). WHY did you not respond to that email rather than send me this "feedback" email?

Cherry brandy, Rudbeckia

My 8 rudbeckia’s came during a heat wave and looked rough. I let them sit in the shade for a few days and watered them well. After planting 6 have started thriving and 2 Died. Great Garden Plants Guarantee is fantastic as they said they will replace the 2 that died the first of September. I absolutely love doing business with Great Garden Plants!!
