Description
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

This is the second time I got the Potentilla. The first time it arrived wilted and dry with the leaves falling off. I filed al claim and Great Garden Plants sent me a replacement straight away. The replacement came and it looked okay not great but just okay. I watered it hoping it would come around and planted it two days later. It also continued to wilt and loose the leaves even though I watered it deeply twice a week. I hope it comes up next year as it is too late in the season and too late to file another claim.

The flowers on my plant are more white than pink. However, the plant is very healthy and blooming!
Hello! There are a lot of factors that go into flower color. Once the plant adjusts to your garden, you should see pink blooms. Happy Gardening!
All plants I got died. Company replaced one. I thoroughly followed their advice for planting plus I love gardening and have lots of other plants. An other words I know how to treat plants. ALL of them died so my advice don’t waste your money and find plants at your local nursery. I think they were poorly packaged and poorly handelt. Super disappointed ☹️ Oh yes the plants already arrived brown and half dead

The plants I received that were marked 1quart on the site are actually pint sized. Anyone as familiar with Ben & Jerry's as I am will well know the size of a pint vs a quart. Plants appear healthy but the "quart" container and plant together are roughly the size of an open hand and should have been about $5 each.
Hello! Thank you for your feedback. If you believe that you received the wrong size, please send us photos to claims@greatgardenplants.com. However, our quart size pots are true quarts. You can learn more about our plant sizes here: https://www.greatgardenplants.com/pages/sizes
Happy Gardening!
Expected plants to be larger and not half dead.
