More Information

Description Hardy plumbago (Ceratostigma plumbaginoides) brings a splash of color to your garden in the late summer through fall with creatively colored flowers and foliage. Striking blue flowers bloom in the late summer and persist as foliage changes from green to a rich maroon in the fall. These colors will quickly fill your garden as it spreads vigorously in optimum conditions. Hardy plumbago is a creeping, semi-woody perennial. This tough-as-nails, heat-tolerant perennial will thrive on dry, sunny slopes and makes a terrific foreground planting to flowering shrubs. Plant it in your difficult to grow spaces and watch it thrive! Details How To Grow

Hopeful!

I was nervous about this little guy when I planted him. I planted in the fall when it wasn't active and I thought that it had died completely. I'm so excited that it isn't just alive, but looks healthy and strong. Can't wait to see what show it puts on.

Plumbago

The plumbago plants were well packaged and arrived in good shape. They have doubled in size and bloomed already and are still blooming today on September 29. This was a great purchase and I plan to do more purchasing through Great garden plants!
