Description
Create a winter wonderland with this living dwarf Alberta spruceĀ (Picea glauca 'Conica') flocked holiday tree!Ā Fragrant blue-green needles are flocked with an enchanting snow-fallen appearance that won't melt, even when touched. This mini Christmas tree is small and can easily be grown outdoors or indoors- add to a festive tabletop or deck out with dĆ©cor. Ships in black nursery pot.
Avoid leaving your flocked trees out in the rain, or else the snow will wash off! Keep them in a sheltered area and water them at the base of the plant.
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5ā. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. Thereās really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you donāt want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as youād like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

The three plants were just what I needed to brighten my holidays and thru the winter. Always well packed and healthy plants. The ornament was a welcomed surprise. Thanks!
I decorated my front porch with Dwarf Alberta Spruce Flocked Trees and the Wintergreen Berries for Christmas. I covered them with battery operated lights on a timer. I live in the Pacific Northwest and they are suitable for my area. I recently transferred the plants to bigger pots in my garden. The summers can get as hot as 100 degrees , winters with some snow, lots of rain and chill average 25 to 35 degrees. For now I will keep them in pots and move around my garden when necessary.
SO happy I skipped the fake trees this season and snagged this instead. I have houseplants and thought this would be a great addition for around the holidays. Shipping was fast, and the trees arrived undamaged.
Love the flocked spruce and holiday wintergreen, both plants have been robust, healthy and vibrant! The flocking looks so great in person and tied together all my holiday dƩcor beautifully. I also got the wintergreen and it looks happy and healthy on my dining table. Never disappointed with this company!
