Plant Spacing

Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Showey little guys, loving this heat wave!

After a little protesting, these guys started showing off. Even during a heat wave, a month after planting. Watering regularly to get them through and they're happy as can be. So am I!

Adorable Orange Catmint

I have lots of varieties of Nepeta and Calaminta. It attracts bees and the rabbits don't like to eat it. I had never seen an orange variety! The plants arrived healthy and I planted them in two spots to see which pleased them the most. The sunnier spot seemed better and they already have a few blooms. I am looking forward to next year to see how they do.
