Description
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

Hi. I got the shipment/ plant on time i put it in a bigrtg pot but it died I tried everything but still .
All the plants I receive from Great Garden Plants are well packaged, undamaged, and healthy!  the Lady’s Mantle has beautiful scalloped leaves; I can’t wait for blossoms in the spring! 
I ordered three Lady’s Mantle plants. Two were beautiful, but one was almost totally dried out and withered: it looked as if it was not watered. Efore shipping. I contacted Great Garden Plants as directed, and a healthy replacement was sent to me immediately. The plants are thriving in the cooler fall weather.
My plants came well packaged and lush with tons of foliage! They had a small amount of powdery mildew starting but I took care of that quickly with some care and cut back, they got used to our very warm summer weather quickly in the shade on my front porch, and now they’re happily in the ground in a part shade area. My first lady’s mantle plant from this site COOKED in a full sun spot in my garden here in Missouri 6b, so definitely recommend part shade if you get HOT summer days. Can’t wait to experience these plants in bloom!!!
