Description
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

I bought 2 small Lil Kim Violet roses of Sharon, now planted. They’ve lost their leaves for winter. Won’t know til spring if they survived. By then the 60-day guarantee will have expired. The guarantee is useless, and my little plants are “on their own” now for the winter. I hope they will survive!!!

I love the Lil' Kim Rose of Sharons. So great to have a small version to put around the house. Can't believe the number of buds on them! Just full of blooms and color! This was my second order of them!
Short compact size and hoping to keep in trimmed to less than 3 feet. Looks very nice and very bushy. Putting on flowers shortly after it arrived. Was well packaged and deliver was fairly quick.
Lil’ Kim arrived looking healthy and with a great root system. It has continued to thrive and now has a few buds.
I think it's great, I gave it to my sister as a gift and she loves it. My gardenias and roses that I bought from you all last year and wonderful- hardy and strong plants that we have moved a few times since getting them & they are still in great shape and much better shape than any of our plants purchased prior at Home Depot!
