Description
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

Not impressed by these flowers. The growth has been extremely slow and varied. Some plants have produced flowers while others are not. All planted in same conditions and in nearby areas.
Based on price, the size and condition of the plant was disappointing.

I am completely heartbroken by the small, underdeveloped, wimpy plants that I received. I order 9 plants. All 9 plants were scrawny, short, and lacking any blooms. Based on other reviewers, I thought i would receive fully developed healthy plants. I regret not buying these plants from a big box store. I see them in every garden center or box store. The ones in the garden centers are big, beautiful and full of blooms. I've had mine planted for 2 weeks. They haven't grown. I still don't have a single bloom. They are absolutely disappointing. And the make matters worse - - I paid 30% more than what they are charging in local store. I will never make this mistake again. I am thoroughly disappointed. I makes me want to cry every time i look at my garden.
