Plant Spacing

Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:

Description When you compare 'Neptune' Hosta to other hostas, it's almost like it's from another planet. Large, narrow leaves have a bright glaucous blue color. With heavily rippled edges, it looks like the leaves are in motion! It stays looking fresh in your landscape from spring to fall, but does take on more green tones later in the season. By late summer - early fall, tall scapes of lavender flowers bloom above the foliage. Hostas are a great option for beginner and experienced gardeners looking for low-maintenance shade plants. Blooming after <3 months

I received a healthy plant, very well packaged and protected for shipping. After a few weeks of settling in to its new spot in the garden, it began to grow again and is now about to bloom after less than 3 months. Love it.
