Description
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

Beautiful color!
The plants came smaller than I was expecting but they are healthy and growing very well. I am happy
It lived!! My rose was shipped in July when temperatures were over 100 in Oregon…and it was shipped over a weekend (which means the 3 day shipping had 2 non-business days added to it for a total of 5 days in the shipping box). I followed the instructions, watering immediately and kept it indoors, allowing it to adjust from post shipping shock, between 24-48 hours…then I planted the poor thing. I didn’t think it would make it. But it absolutely did. After a few days in the ground, I gently trimmed the dead foliage and within another week green leaves were showing up and I knew the rose would survive. It has been about six weeks and it’s very happy now. It is tiny, but next year it will take off. I wanted this specific rose for my garden. Although my timing was not optimal to give this rose its best start, it is now thriving and I will be enjoying the beautiful oranges next year.
I am delighted with our roses. After setting them out they doubled in size in just 2-3 weeks and blossomed a week after that. We just love the flowers and can't wait until they fill in the space we gave them. At this rate it won't be long.
Already bloomed. Color is beautiful. Couldn't be happier with all the flowerers that I have ordered through Great Garden Plants.
