Struggled but now flourishing

At first, this little pincushion flower struggled. It was planted in a newly created bed with good soil and soaker hose fro watering. I think it was the brutal Texas sun, of which it got half a day. But now several months later, it is growing and flowering and it is going to flourish I hope at its corner spot by some steps.

She started young, but really through out blooms during a heat wave. I love the pincushion flowers, and am so glad this baby thrived during this horrid heat
