More Information

Description Blooming early with delightfully fragrant white blooms, 'Royal Star' magnolia (Magnolia stellata) is sure to become the star of your spring landscape. This large multi-branched shrub (or small tree) is covered in a flurry of flowers that appear before the foliage emerges in spring. Reminiscent of snowfall, the showy display persists throughout the season as the frilly double flowers are replaced with lush, deep green leaves. Plant somewhere with plenty of sunlight and prepare yourself for a truly spectacular display year after year. Details How To Grow

Royal Star Magnolia

So far so good. It has only been in the ground for about a month and a half. I will know better in the spring.

Beautiful Tree

We moved recently and had to place a new Star Magnilia tree as we loved the one we left .. she’s front and center in a newly established flower bed and I cannot wait to she her grow and thrive and show off her blooms next spring

Puny and poorly packaged.

I could immediately tell that several if not more of the plants that I received were in a poor condition. I didn’t expect local nursery size or grade plants via mail but I did want them to look healthy and viable. Unfortunately, several of the plants that I received are neither. I immediately contacted customer service and sent pictures and the response that I received was that the plants had good root systems. Well, they’re still not thriving despite being planted, fed and watered. Very disappointing. Oh well, live and learn.

We apologize that you received plants that are not up to our standards. While we try our best to provide exceptional service, some factors, like shipping and handling, are outside our control, and issues like this can sometimes happen. Please email pictures of the plants to claims@greatgardenplants.com, making sure to put your order number and name in the subject line so that we may provide the best assistance possible. Rest assured, we have a 60-day guarantee on all our plants. If you received your plants within that timeframe, we would be happy to apply your warranty once we receive the pictures. Happy Gardening!
