More Information

Description The Scout Maiden Grass is perfect for adding movement and structure to any garden. Upright in form, this grass makes a stand in the landscape with slender blades containing a white midrib that take on spectacular fall color and reach up to 6 feet by the end of summer. Plumes emerge in the fall in colors of fluffy pink to beige. Scout is a non-invasive and infertile variety from the University of Georgia.

Maiden grass (Miscanthus) ornamental grass has a graceful, vase-like shape that fills the garden with a soft, airy texture. Maiden Grass looks good even when it's not in bloom, but when it does, the foliage is topped by silvery seed heads. The plants can grow large, so make sure you have enough room for this perennial to thrive.
