More Information

Description 'Silver Mist' English lavender (or Lavandula angustifolia ) earns its name by boasting the most silver foliage we've seen on a lavender flower. The stark contrast between the ghostly foliage and purple flowers is eye-catching, but more importantly, it's nose-catching. The flowers and foliage both carry a strong lavender scent that can be enjoyed in cut arrangements, essential oils, teas, or simply as it wafts through the summer air. This purposeful lavender type belongs in any garden, big or small, just make sure they get plenty of sun!

While it may be called English lavender, it's native to the Mediterranean, growing in dry and sandy soils. Given plenty of sun and well-draining soil, 'Silver Mist' lavender plant will reward you with multiple flushes of fragrant flowers. Lavender plant care requires little maintenance and it only gets more floriferous as it matures. Try planting it in rock gardens, containers, or along walkways where the fragrance can be enjoyed all summer long.
