More Information

Description Wheels of Wonder® 'Limoncello' ice plant ( Delosperma ) is about as sweet and irresistible as its namesake! Lemon-yellow petals fade to white towards the centers, adding refreshing color to the hot days of summer. Succulent leaves create an excellent ground cover that grows quickly and tolerates neglect, adding year-long texture and the perfect backdrop to the sea of flowers. Drought-tolerant and heat-loving, this ice plant is a great addition to any hot and dry spot in the garden!

We're delighted to offer the new series Wheels of Wonder® ice plants (or Delosperma ) for two main reasons: their larger flowers and incredibly long bloom time! Enjoy colorful bi-color flowers for up to 5 months without any maintenance to keep them blooming. They open their flowers during the day but close them at night, so early risers can watch them bloom each morning. Try planting them in masses for a thick groundcover, in containers for a sunny patio, or as a pop of color in rock gardens. Mix and match the six colors in the series or opt for a monochromatic ground cover. Either way, there will be plenty of flowers to shine all summer long.
