received my allium plants and they were in excellent condition. They’re in the ground now and I can’t wait for the blooms to come
Plants arrived in very good condition. Instructions included for planting and a gardening. Simplified magazine with wonderful landscaping ideas.
I purchased ten of the Bowles Periwinkle in September 2023 along with a much larger order of Pachysandras.
I thought most of the Periwinkle died and filed a partial claim. In 2024, I thought they were all dead. But I managed to spot at least three of the ten which survived. I need to weed that area and hopefully, they will expand.
I should get some more and help them along.
I spent over $2,000 at Great Garden Plants in 2023 and 2024. I have gotten a fair amount back in claims thanks to their excellent customer service. Deer have been the biggest problem, even for plants that are listed as 'deer resistant'.
The bugleweed have been excellent. I ordered 25 of the Petite Parakeet on June 12th, 2024 and here they are today ten months later. I need to weed and mulch around them but as you can see, they are doing well. Only 2 of the 25 died. I will buy about another 5 or 6 but then simply rely on time for them to expand.
The pachysandra in the background are the other rock stars.
I am in West St. Louis County, Missouri (zone 7).
I was really excited to add this variety to my poppy collection, but nothing grew. I’m not a master gardener, but I have been able to get everything else I’ve ordered to grow, so I guess this was a dud.
The plants were well packed and looked very healthy. They are doing well after we planted them a couple of weeks ago. They do not have flowers this year, but I expect to see them next year.
Nice plants overall. The were all very root bound one was extremely root bound so in trying to transplant it and untangle the roots I severely damaged the plant.
I am hopeful it will come back.

I just planted them today. Can't wait to see how they will look once they start to grow. Fast shipping and packed so neatly. I will definitely order again.
I ordered a few hostas last year and wanted to grab 1-2 new varieties this year and grab this munchkin fire! It came in on time and perfect condition. Definitely happy with another shipment of hostas. Also grabbed a few climbing roses too. Will continue to purchase from GGP!
The trees are doing well. One night it went down to 35⁰ I covered them and they have done fine.
We planted these ornamental grasses very early in the season and we covered them up on frosty nights. They are doing well.
In the last year, I have ordered over 40 plants from you. They have all arrived in perfect condition, healthy, on time and packed well. The conscience is awesome as your site has had everything I wanted and eliminated me driving all over town in search of the perfect plants. Thank you!!!!!!!
Received 2 very cute Baby's Breath plants and so far they are doing well. I do however notice that they are very sensitive to how much water you give them but as long as I give them a small amount of water and some sunlight they seem to be doing well. As they develop roots I will eventually be planting them in the ground.
I Like Great Garden plants as they deliver quality but its up to the buyer to give them the proper care they need for the most part. I recommend their company they are reliable and helpful and reasonably priced.
So far, so good. They are just waiting patiently for the rain to quit so they can be planted?
I understand everyone is in a hurry for reviews, but please be patient and give us a chance to get them planted!
Both arrived healthy, cute tiny plants. I can see buds of flowers forming already. Looking forward to beautiful blooms!!!
Perfecto Mundo® Double Dark Pink Reblooming Azalea (Rhododendron)
Bought 3 of these and none of them made it. Withered a day after arrival and I didn't even have a chance to transfer it to a larger container. It was supposed to arrive on a Friday, but due to UPS delay, it didn't arrive until Monday (extra 3 days). The soil was dry by the time I received it. It was well packaged, but think it just spent too many days in the box.
Love this planted in a rock pathway! Fills in quickly and blooms are beautiful!
