Great Garden Plants offers over 1,000 outdoor plants for home gardeners and landscapers, including attractive perennials, vigorous roses, colorful hydrangeas for privacy hedges, gorgeous ground covers, and so much more. We believe gardening is for everybody, and we’re proud to select only the highest-quality plants at affordable prices.
Established in 2008 by Mary Walters, Great Garden Plants was purchased by Jeremy Deppe in 2019 and has stayed committed to growing the West Michigan greenhouses to provide new plant varieties and serve more gardeners!
Our Product
Our greenhouses are located in beautiful west Michigan. At GreatGardenPlants.com, we grow hundreds of sun perennials, shade perennials, shrubs, groundcovers, roses, hedge plants and so much more. You’ll find exciting new varieties as well as tried and true garden classics.
Our Plant Sizes
Many mail order companies ship out garden plants that are very small & often make substitutions when they run out.
However, our pot sizes are some of the most robust in the online nursery business. We offer a variety of pot sizes – 3″ size for the biggest value, robust one quart for most of our perennials, large one-quarts or true one-gallon for most of our shrubs, and 1 gallon for most of our trees and hedging plants. We keep our plants nicely trimmed – which encourages more branching and a strong, healthy root system while providing safe shipping and rapid establishment in your garden. All of our products are raised by professional growers who love plants as much as you do!

Our office hours are 8-6 ET during shipping season, and 9-3 ET on off season. Our greenhouse and fulfillment staff do such a tremendous job making it all happen during slow and peak seasons.
