Description
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

Packaged very carefully and well, fast shipping and healthy plants!
Love that the product arrived in good condition.
I ordered three Fruit Punch Dianthus and this should be in the worst condition compared with the others in the same package. The plant came in green but carried several black dead buds which made me worry. But the leaves looked still green and in good shape. Hopefully, it will recover from the shipment.
Hello! Thank you for leaving a reveiw. We're sorry that you're unsatisfied with your plants. Please note that dianthus is a perennial that benefits from deadheading old, spent flowers (this is noted on the product page in the 'how to grow' section:https://www.greatgardenplants.com/collections/perennials-dianthus/products/fruit-punch-cherry-vanilla-dianthus). Removing spent blooms will allow the plant to reallocate energy into producing more flowers. This encourages overall health for the plant as well as prevents any disease. You're plant is still healthy, but deadheading spent blooms throughout the season will keep a more tidy appearance, and promote new growth. Our customer service team would love to hear from you. Please email pictures of the plants to claims@greatgardenplants.com, making sure to put your order number and name in the subject line so that we may provide the best assistance possible. Happy gardening!
After all this time it is alive but it has not done anything. It just looks like a green ball. When will flowers come out?
Hello Raul!
It looks like you placed your order after these plants have already bloomed. You can expect blooms for the beauties to begin in early summer!
I'm a little disappointed that my plants have not bloomed yet. I believe they were supposed to Bloom in late Spring
