More Information

Description If you're looking to attract pollinators all summer long, then Kudos™ Mandarin hummingbird mint (or Agastache) is the perennial for you! Juicy orange flowers appear in early summer, blooming continuously to fall. Hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees are attracted to its vibrant colors - which are hard to miss in the landscape. Thanks to its compact habit (only reaching 1.5-2 feet tall), it's easy to find room for this perennial to shine.

While it's beloved for its flowers, hummingbird mint is also highly fragrant and adds a pleasant aroma to the garden. The foliage has a minty, spicy scent that is particularly noticeable when the leaves are brushed against or crushed. These native perennials are drought-tolerant and thrive in full sun, making them an excellent choice for those who want a low-maintenance landscape without frequent watering. Since they are resistant to diseases and pests (like deer and rabbits), gardeners can enjoy their beauty without worry!

Very nice plant. Too many emails from supplier though. If I had known I would be pestered to death, I never would have ordered from them.

Showey little guys, loving this heat wave!

After a little protesting, these guys started showing off. Even during a heat wave, a month after planting. Watering regularly to get them through and they're happy as can be. So am I!

Adorable Orange Catmint

I have lots of varieties of Nepeta and Calaminta. It attracts bees and the rabbits don't like to eat it. I had never seen an orange variety! The plants arrived healthy and I planted them in two spots to see which pleased them the most. The sunnier spot seemed better and they already have a few blooms. I am looking forward to next year to see how they do.
