More Information

Description The evergreen and ever-lovely marginal wood fern (Dryopteris marginalis) boasts leathery blue-green foliage all year long. In spring, fuzzy fiddleheads emerge and unfurl into textured fronds that form a vase-shaped habit. Unlike other ferns, it doesn't spread in the garden, making it easy to control in smaller areas!

Marginal wood fern is native to eastern North America - specifically, shaded crevices and bluffs. It's well adapted to challenging sites, handling more drought than other ferns. It's deer, rabbit, and disease resistant, making it easy to grow in rock gardens, containers, woodland gardens, or any spot that needs lush green foliage.

I got 3 ferns and only 1 fern made it. One arrived broken. I will probably stick to ostrich ferns from now on, I have had much better luck with them
