Description
Plant spacing is based on the ultimate width of the plants. This figure is normally given as a range; for example, 3-5’. If you live in a cold climate and/or want plants to fill in more quickly, plan to space at the shorter end of the range. If you live in a warm climate, are on a limited budget, or are willing to wait longer for plants to touch, use the higher end of the range. Using the larger number is recommended when calculating distance from a building or structure. There’s really no such thing as "maximum spacing": if you don’t want your plants to touch, you can space them as far apart as you’d like. All plant spacing is calculated on center, or in other words, the centers of the plants are spaced one half of their eventual width apart:
Unless you are planting in a straight line, as you might for hedges or edging, space your plants in a staggered or zig-zag pattern for a more interesting and naturalistic look:

I still have both of them in their pots...getting watered ea day...they are just beautiful, blooming off and on. I have another Perfecto Mundo red in another pot from another seller, and it doesn't look nearly as healthy and blooming as the 2 I bought from you! I can't wait til next year to see how they do through the winter here in middle TN. I can't say the same for the other plants I bought earlier that were bare roots...hoping for the best in the spring, though.
Arrived beautifully in the middle of summer heat. Thank you
I am VERY pleased my red and pink azeleas from Great Garden Plants. I ordered several to ultimately form an attractive low hedge. The price was right, they shipped on the date I requested, all arrived in excellent condition and were very well packaged. After about three weeks in the ground they are already showing signs of expansion and new growth. I'm looking forward to a "wall of color" when they start blooming. I'm happy to recommend both the plants and the company to any home gardener.

I was pleased at the condition of the plants that i had ordered. Ready to order again, since i found a "hole" that needs some color.
I purchased 11 Perfecto Mundo Azaleas in assorted colors. All 11 were packaged carefully, looked great in the containers and have been successfully planted and growing nicely. Can’t wait to see blooms
