More Information

Description Summer Wine® Ninebark (Physocarpus opulifolium) stands out in the landscape with deep purple foliage and a cascading habit. This shrub looks stunning all season long with purple textured foliage. Clusters of soft pink flowers cover the plant in early summer, attracting pollinators with a sweet fragrance. Its graceful, arching habit and landscape-friendly size make it a perfect addition to the garden or container plantings. High sun exposure and fungal diseases can cause foliage to look drab, but Summer Wine® Ninebark never seems fazed. It doesn't take much work to keep the leaves looking cheery. It's easy to grow in any soil and drought tolerant once established, making it an excellent choice for beginners. Plus, it's a Proven Winners ColorChoice Flowering Shrub, so you know it won't disappoint! Details How To Grow

Nice!

Packaged very well and my Summer Wine Ninebark plant arrived healthy. Haven’t planted yet as we are waiting for our driveway to be poured and subsequent landscaping to be done, but looking forward to watching this baby grow and can’t wait to see her in her full grown glory!

GREAT PLANTS.

Everything about my purchase from great garden plants was outstanding. Delivered quickly and packed well. The plants were all perfectly fresh and healthy, vibrant to the point of showing zero shock effect upon being transplanted. All I had to do was keep them watered for two weeks as per usual, and they have done just fine on their own since then. They look great. I had the pleasant experience you have when dealing with a professional organization. 100% satisfied. Good work! Rick Mills Chattanooga
